Privacy

Kickoff opens Twitch channels you choose when they go live. That is its only purpose. It does not have an account, ads, or analytics.

On this device

Chrome stores your channel list, auto-open and notification settings, and the IDs of streams already opened so the same stream is not opened twice. That data stays in the browser on your computer. Removing a channel, or removing Kickoff, deletes it.

Sent to Twitch

The usernames on your list are sent to Twitch (gql.twitch.tv) to check whether those channels are live. Kickoff’s developer does not receive a copy. Twitch handles that request under its own privacy policy.

Twitch tabs

Kickoff looks at open Twitch tabs so it can focus a stream you already have instead of opening a duplicate. It does not read other sites, and it does not save your browsing history.

Not collected

No email address, phone number, location, health, financial, or payment data. The Twitch usernames you type are the only personal information, and they are handled as described above. Nothing is sold, used for ads, or used for credit or lending. If this ever changes, this page will say so before a new version asks for anything more.
